  1. Urban Family Photo
I moved across the country almost ten years ago and haven’t really seen my family since, so I love my friends dearly. These are just a few of the amazing people who have entered my life this year since moving to Toronto and I don’t know what I’d do without them. It’s interesting to see how much I’ve grown as a person since I jettisoned myself out of Alberta. I’ve lived in and visited so many places, worked hard to make a living as a creative person, figuring out along the way where my strengths and passions lie, and what I’m not willing to compromise on. But the most shocking of all my accomplishments is being able to make friends; something I was never good at.  Urban Family Photo

  2. Minhaj (aka Blue Neptune) asked me to do the cover for his next EP, Broken Flowers. Since the album is a digital release only there wasn’t much work to be done. The most work was convincing Minhaj to do away with his usual Arial only font choice. I found a new font that I’m sort of in love with right now, Edmondus, that was a perfect fit for image we used. The EP will be available for as a free download for 30 days soon so keep an eye out, but until then check out Blue Neptune on SoundCloud. 3. Dear Internet,

I’m working on a series of watercolour paintings that recreate Instagram photos I’ve taken over the last year and a half. I want YOU to help me choose which snapshots to recreate. Visit this gallery on Flickr to see what you’re hundreds of options are: iPhoneography

  4. I got to interview Interaction Designer Andrew Lovett-Barron for this week’s Lossless Toronto. Andrew is an incredibly interesting mind to pick and his passion for his work is infectious. Toronto is better for having him. Though we’ll be loosing him to NYU for a spell he plans to return.
